Sarah Jane Yell, 71, of Whitwell, Tennessee, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leroy Yell; parents, Arthur & Mildred Redford; five brothers & sisters; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
She was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Alberta (Jerry) Walker of Dunlap; Loretta (David) Lea of Whitwell; Tommy Yell, David (Clem) Yell, Jeff Yell all of Newport News, VA; nine grandchildren, Mark (April) Michaels, Kimberly (Daniel) Snyder, Hailey (Michael) Henry, Bailey (Tanya) Nunley, Rose Lea, Jonathan Walker, Trinity Lea, Dylan Walker and Brandon (Leslie) Walker; and five great-grandchildren, Annalee Michaels, Cheyanne Palmer, Cooper Michaels, Rowan Henry and Bentley Nunley.
Family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. Sunday, April 30.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 1, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Troyer officiating. Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.
