Willie Patton
Willie “Tommie” Ophelia Patton, 90, of Trenton, Georgia, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, May 23, 2017.
Tommie was a longstanding member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church who remained faithful and active until her death. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family, many friends and church family.
She was preceded in death by her husband W.D. Patton; eight brothers and sisters.
Surviving include her daughter Sandra (Redgie) Carter of East Ridge; daughter, Janet Patton of Rocky Face; son, Douglas (Diane) Patton of Lookout Valley; son, Gene (Robyn) Patton of Knoxville; six grandchildren, Emily (Alastair) Gardner, Dana (Jason) Garrett, Tosha (Andy) Holsted, Kota (Alisha) Patton, April Patton, Joseph (Nikki) Patton; six great-grandchildren, Patton Garrett, Will and Claudia Gardner, Harper Patton, Asher Jones, Addilyn Holsted; brother, Voy Baty; sisters, Jo Chastain, Vivian Echols, Jerry Durham; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 26, in the chapel with Reverend Philip Trask and Brother A.C. Durham officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
Family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday and 10-11 a.m. on Friday at the Ryan Funeral Home, Trenton.
