Brenda Hixon Named Executive Director At Garden Plaza At Cleveland

Garden Plaza at Cleveland, an independent living, assisted living and retirement villa community, is welcoming a new executive director, Brenda Hixon.

“Brenda brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our Cleveland community,” said Rebecca Sturtz, regional director of operations for Garden Plaza’s parent company, Century Park Associates. “We are so happy she has joined our team.”

Hixon most recently served as executive director for The Terrace at Mountain Creek in Chattanooga for six years. Prior to that appointment, she was a regional administrator with Morning Pointe. She also has experience in home health care and is a registered nurse.

“Garden Plaza feels like family already,” said Ms. Hixon.

Ms. Hixon earned a nursing degree from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, and a degree in health care administration from Tennessee Wesleyan University in Athens, Tn.

Originally from Woodbury, Tn., Ms. Hixon has called Chattanooga home for the last 30 years. She has two daughters and three grandchildren.

Garden Plaza at Cleveland is at 3500 Keith St. NW.
