An Additional 4 Acres Protected In Nashville’s West Meade Neighborhood

  • Friday, July 7, 2017

The Land Trust for Tennessee now protects an additional four acres of forestland in Nashville’s West Meade neighborhood.

The Land Trust in late June finalized two conservation easements with neighbors Ron and Susan Denes and Dan and Rene Lindstrom that will protect the old growth forested slopes on their adjacent properties for future generations.

The Land Trust said this will ensure wildlife habitat and ridge views in this area will continue to add ecological benefits and beauty to the community and it advances goals in the Nashville Open Space Plan.

The West Meade Conservancy was involved in the effort.

To date, The Land Trust has helped to conserve more than 2,500 acres in Davidson County.
