King, Patty Dean Phillips (South Pittsburg)

Patty Dean Phillips King, 77, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, died on Friday, August 4, 2017 at her home.

The daughter of the late Wheeler & Carrie Ann Pickett Phillips, she was a longtime employee of Wal-Mart in Kimball, and a member of Grace Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Carrie Turner, brothers, J. W. and Kimo Phillips, and sister, Judy Carol Phillips.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gene King; daughters, Donna (Steve) Turner of South Pittsburg, and Cindy (Landon) Pickett of Ringgold; grandchildren, Chase (Ashley) Turner, Matthew (Bailey) Turner, Ciara Biggs, Dustin Houston, Dakota Houston, Cassie Pickett, John Mark (Chloe) Lofty, Jamie (Brooke) Reed, Joe Tate, and Marcus Sacks; great-grandchildren, Clara Kate Turner, Brenley Houston, Kymber Lofty, River Lofty, Jaxon Reed, Ethan Reed, and Gabriel Tate; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 9, at 6 p.m. Central time at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg. 

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until service time.
