Bitter Bloom Plays At Charles And Myrtle's Saturday

  • Tuesday, August 8, 2017

Bitter Bloom will play at Charles and Myrtle's Coffeehouse on Saturday at 8 p.m.  The coffeehouse is inside Christ Unity Church at 105 McBrien Road.  There is a $10 suggested donation at the door.

Review for Bitter Bloom:

Mark Harris and Domenica Romagni as Bitter Bloom are two singer-instrumentalists celebrating traditional music as they re-imagine it. Their music develops North American and Celtic folk traditions in deeply experimental ways, all the while channeling the common spirit of those traditions - the jangle of strings, the scrape of bows, the shuffle of feet, and the crackling warmth of voices singing in harmony.

Bitter Bloom is based in Philadelphia. Mark Harris is a composer, guitarist and singer from Perth, Western Australia. Domenica Romagnia is a cellist and singer from Houston, Texas.
