Mark “Mickey” Kelly Curry, 81, was born on Dec. 26, 1935. He died on September 19, 2017 at Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
 
Mark, a very giving man, was an Army veteran and retiree of the Norfolk Southern Railroad.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Conner Charlie and Luvennia Phillips Curry; brothers, Charlie Curry Jr. and Jimmy Curry; and sister, Louise “Penny” Curry.
 
He is survived by daughters, Kellie Joy (Rev. J.R.) Bridgeman, Monica Lynn (Thaddaeus) Armour; grandchildren, Gabrielle and Dominique Armour; Solomon and Josiah Bridgeman all of Chattanooga. Mark is also survived by his sister, Sarah E. Weeks, Chattanooga; brother, Marshall L. Curry of New Haven, CT; nieces, Deborah L. Leaks, Felicia A. (Edward) Lewis, Chattanooga; nephews, Marshall L. Curry, Jr. and Adrian D. Curry, New Haven, CT, Robert C. (Monique) Weeks and Stephen Weeks, of Chattanooga; the Calloway family and friend, Dorothy Gonzales.
 
The body will lie in state after noon on Thursday, Sept. 21.
 
Funeral services will be on Friday, Sept. 22, at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel with Reverend J.R. Bridgeman officiating. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
