Flossie S. Headrick
Flossie S. Headrick, age 99, of Dalton passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Ridgewood Manor Healthcare.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry “Tunk” Headrick; parents, George W. and Lena Gulledge Swinney; step-mother, Lou Credia Swinney and 10 siblings.
She was a member of Mineral Springs United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her sisters, Beatrice S. Wilkins and Mammie Grace Stinson, both of Dalton, and Shelby Jean Groves of Chattanooga; brothers, Willard Swinney of Indiana and Jerry Donald Swinney of Dalton; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral service to honor the life of Flossie S. Headrick will be held Saturday, Jan. 20, at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Gordon Delashmitt officiating. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from noon until the service time at 2 p.m.
