Jerrian Besley, 22, Shot Late Tuesday Night On Grove Street

Jerrian Besley, 22, was shot late Tuesday night on Grove Street.
 
Officers from the Chattanooga Police Department responded at 12 a.m. to the intersection of MLK Boulevard and Pine Street on a report of a person shot.
 
Besley advised officers that he was in the 1200 block of Grove Street when he was approached by a man with a gun.
He told police he was shot while running away from the unknown suspect. He was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS with non-life threatening injuries.
 
Members of the Violent Crime Bureau are actively investigating this shooting. Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423 698-2525
