Rev. Dr. P.K. Geevarghese, 85, was called home to his Heavenly Father on October 17, 2018.

He served Chattanooga and countless communities across the U.S. and the world for decades as a priest, professor, civic leader, evangelist, and scholar.  

He was a beloved and cherished husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, colleague and friend. 

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Grace; his children, Sunil and Liby, Salin and Asha, Sajeena; and his six devoted grandchildren.

The viewing and services will be held Saturday, Oct. 20, from 4-8 p.m. at the East Brainerd Chapel. 

The funeral service in the tradition of the Indian Orthodox Church will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21, at Hickory Valley Christian Church, 6605 Shallowford Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421. 

Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
