Annie Sturnes
Annie Lee Sturnes, 97, of Chattanooga, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, in a local hospital.
She was a member at Phillips Temple C.M.E. Church for over 60 years and served on the Usher Board.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Fannie Sturnes; four siblings; daughter-in-law, Juliet Sturnes, and grandchild, Reginald White.
Survivors include her son, Robert Sturnes of Chattanooga; daughter, Annie (David) Ussery of Sacramento, Ca.; six grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 11 a.m.-noon at Taylor Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at noon in the chapel with Reverend Robert Henry as the eulogist. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
