Investigation Finds There Was No Threat To Soddy Daisy Middle School Student

  • Tuesday, November 13, 2018

An investigation found there was no threat to a Soddy Daisy Middle School student as was rumored, authorities said.

On Monday a Soddy Daisy Middle School administrator was made aware of an alleged rumor that a male student had threatened a female student.

The School Resource Officer was notified and began an investigation. After following up on the alleged rumor, it was determined that there was no threat to the school or the student, officials said.

The HCSO notified the Soddy Daisy Police Department Monday night and, as a precautionary measure, asked them to send an additional unit to the school should any parents have any concerns, especially since a Connect-Ed message was sent to all parents.
