Shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Chattanooga firefighters with Quint 6 watched as a car ran into the corner of the Captain D’s restaurant at 5106 Hixson Pike.
There were no injuries inside the restaurant and only minor injuries to the driver.
The Chattanooga Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
Due to the damage to the building, the business was closed. After speaking with a representative from the Health Department, the business will remain closed until after repairs can be made.
