  • Tuesday, February 27, 2018
The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary became aware of the need to provide women's hygiene items and created the idea of a "Mardi Bra Party," where bras, panties, and feminine hygiene items will be handed out to female homeless guests. The Mardi Bra Party, with a Mardi Gras theme, will be held, Tuesday at noon at The Salvation Army ReCreate Café, 800 McCallie Ave.

"We are excited that this year we are adding the Mary Ellen Locher Mammogram Bus and SOMA lingerie company will be on site," states Major Karen Lyle, associate area commander of the Greater Chattanooga Area.
"This is a party hosted by the Women’s Auxiliary for women in need."
