Puppies With A Purpose Event Set For Thursday Evening

The Greater Chattanooga Friends of Animals will host a "light-hearted educational event" today from 6-7 p.m. in the lobby area of Main Street Pet Wellness Center, 1132 E. Main St. in Chattanooga.  Tennessee state representatives, local political figures and Chattanooga animal advocates have been invited to learn about HB1713/ SB1698, also known as the Puppy Mill Bill.

The Puppies with a Purpose Event will include:

Guest Speaker Eric Swafford - Tennessee State Director, The Humane Society of the United States
A Puppy naming contest with prizes
Pictures with puppies
A short, informal educational session on the Puppy Mill Bill
