Moc Golfers At Linger Longer Invitational

-The Chattanooga Mocs are back in action Sunday at the Linger Longer Invitational. The three-day, 54-hole event is played on the Great Waters Course at Reynolds Lake Oconee in Eatonton, Ga.

The Mocs are coming off a sixth-place finish at the one-day, 36-hole Southern Intercollegiate in Athens, Ga. Lake Johnson and Etienne Brault paced the effort shooting 147 and 148, respectively. Included among the many wins for UTC was Iowa along with Southern Conference rivals Wofford and Western Carolina.

Johnson and Brault remain in the lineup as does Luke Long and Andrew Weathers.
Oliver Simonsen, Long and Weathers made this week’s group through a qualifying tournament this week.

They’ll look to get off to a better start this weekend. Chattanooga’s first 18 average is 302.00, 291.69 in the latter rounds. In the seven years the tournament has called Great Waters home, teams finished par or better 28 times.
