Appointing Justices Is More Important Than A President Of Moral Character - And Response (3)

  • Monday, March 19, 2018

I'm trying hard to understand why there's been so little criticism on the part of conservatives and evangelicals towards a President that paid $280,000 worth of hush money to a porn star, Stormy Daniels, and a Playboy Playmate, Karen McDougal during the campaign.  If this had been any other president the outrage would be constant and harsh.  Where is the outrage on the part of conservatives?

Here you have a guy who, only months after the birth of his child, was carrying on an affair with a porn star and when she threatened to go public with her story, arranged a $130,000 hush money payout to keep her quiet.  Earlier in the campaign, his buddies at the National Enquirer arranged the same thing with Karen McDougal for $150,000.

The failure to speak out against these issues truly shows the hypocrisy of conservatives and evangelicals who have given him a pass on this issue.  Also keep in mind that some 19 women have accused him of sexual harassment or assault.  If you say that all 22 of these women are lying, then you have to draw the same conclusion on Bill Clinton, but we all know that didn't happen.  You really have to do some serious mental gymnastics to conclude these women are lying.

I wish conservatives would just be honest and say that power and control over the government and the appointment of conservative justices is more important than having a President of high moral fiber.  It would be refreshing to hear the truth.  We all know President Trump doesn't have that high moral character and the list of supporting evidence is a mile long.  It would be nice to see the people who've railed against people like this in the past to show some consistency and speak out against our current president or simply admit that those things were never really all that important to them, they just didn't want a Democrat in control.

After eight years of Barack Hussein Obama, President Trump looks like a saint.

Where Barack Hussein Obama thought it was cool to have "Beer Summits" and brag about his drug abuse, we see nothing like that from President Trump.

All we hear are accusations and slander against President Trump.

Hate to say this...but....we won, get over it.

Make America Great Again!

President Donald Trump in 2020!

Mr. Mitchell,

The Justice Department OIG and the FBI Ethics Office both recommended the firing of Andrew McCabe for making unauthorized disclosures to the news media and then “lacking candor” under oath on multiple occasions. That’s grounds for firing.

James Comey too was questioned by a Senate committee regarding leaks to the media from his himself and his agency. He said, under oath, he had never leaked confidential information to the media, nor had anyone he supervised (that would include McCabe). Sound suspicious now?

Most interesting is the Mueller indictment against former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort. Two companies mentioned in the indictment are identified as Company A and Company B. It’s very curious Mueller didn’t identify those companies. Did you wonder  who those companies were? October 30, 2017, NBC News, of all people, identified them as the Podesta Group (Company A) and Mercury Public Affairs (Company B).

Does the name Podesta sound familiar? It should. John Podesta was Hillary’s Campaign manager. He and his brother Tony are the Podesta group. Since the Manafort indictment, Tony has resigned from the firm.

Mr. Bogart never said anything about Trump being corrupt or not being corrupt.

So you can’t say he made a preposterous claim.  His point was the more the president is investigated the more Democrat corruption is exposed. Trying to pivot his point by stating something he didn’t say is what the liberal news media does on a daily basis. And that’s the height of pomposity.

Mr. Bogart was right and the Tweets of at least four Democrat Congressman further confirm it: they offered McCabe a job. In the words of Ari Fletcher, “every member of Congress should hire fired bureaucrats who lied to an inspector general in the course of an investigation. Great slogan.”

Mr. Mitchell,

Thus far it is an interesting response or lack of to your query. We live in the present, not the reconstructed past as some try to divert attention to.

Here is an interesting quote from Ralph Peters, former analyst for the liberal media. He notes his former employers "dismiss facts and empirical reality to launch profoundly dishonest assaults on the F.B.I., the Justice Department, the courts, the intelligence community (in which I served) and, not least, a model public servant and genuine war hero such as Robert Mueller.”

I realize Bob Corker, Jeff Flake, and Lindsey Graham to be honest in their assessments of our leader. It is unfortunate followers offer no legitimate rebuttal to a logical question you pose. Changing the subject never wins an argument, it only adds to the mire.

What is sad here is as our kleptocracy flourishes, folks who could make a difference  working together fight one another as their pockets are fleeced and their children’s and grandchildren's futures are squandered.
