Doris Wilkinson
Doris Marilyn Jones Wilkinson, 87, passed away on March 4, 2018.
She was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. She graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a BS in Business Education and was retired from TVA. She was an avid reader and a long-time member of the Star Twirlers Square Dance Club and the Cherokee Motor Home Campers club.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Clifton Wilkinson; parents, Victor Reynold Jones and Nellie Mae Chambers; sisters Ruth Black, June Jackson, and Betty Kennedy; and brother Victor Jones Jr.
She is survived by three children, Christina Torok (Richard), Vicki Blair (Eugene), both of Chattanooga and Thomas Robinson of Houston, TX.; brother, Johnny Jones, and sister Patricia Gardner of Chattanooga; three granddaughters, Lisa Blair Bennett (Philip), Carolyn Blair Padalino (Tony) and Whitney Torok Belden (Joshua); five great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home North on Highway 153.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 9, from 12-2 p.m. with the service at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Memorial gifts may be made to Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.
Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
