Jeremy Ray Babcock
A felon who was found with a gun at an East Ridge hotel last June 29 has been sentenced to five years in federal prison.
Jeremy Ray Babcock appeared before Judge Sandy Mattice.
East Ridge Police said they knocked on a hotel door and Babcock answered it. Just before he did they heard him throw something behind the door and it make a thud sound.
A 9mm handgun was found behind the door.
Babcok had an empty gun holster on him.
