Demarcus Brown, 20, Shot On Grove Street; 2 Others Shot On Tunnel Boulevard

Three people were shot in two separate incidents in Chattanooga on Thursday.

Demarcus Martez Brown, 20, was shot early Thursday afternoon on Grove Street. 

The Chattanooga Police Department responded to a person shot on the 1200 block of Grove Street at 12:20 p.m. Upon arrival, officers located Brown, who was suffering from gunshot wounds.
 
Hamilton County EMS responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital. At this time, he is listed in stable condition. 
 
There was a second shooting at 5:55 p.m. The Chattanooga Police Department responded to a person shot at 19 Tunnel Blvd.
 
Upon arrival, officers located a person who was suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
 
Hamilton County EMS responded to the scene and transported him to a local hospital. During this time another person arrived at a local hospital via personal vehicle with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. This person told police he was involved in the same Tunnel Boulevard shooting.
 
Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau and Crime Scene are actively investigating both incidents. Charges are pending further investigation in the second case.
