On the second Thursday of every month at The Heritage House Arts and Civic Center, 1428 Jenkins Road in East Brainerd, four (or more) singer-songwriters from the Chattanooga community put on a free intimate house concert called "SongWriter's Night."
The June event will be held on the 14th from 7-9 p.m. Performers will be Mike Crowder, Jessamyn Rains, Peri McIntosh, Chris Slaten and Anthony Quails (host).
"Every month attendees have the opportunity to hear some of the most gifted musical talent that the Scenic City has to offer, as a round of four singer-writers play their compositions and tell the moving stories behind each of them.
"The event is free to the public and is a partnership of the Chattanooga Songwriters Association and the Department of Youth & Family Development, hosted by the friendly staff at the Heritage House," organizers said.
From 6:30-7 p.m.
there is opportunity to mingle with the songwriters over a cup of coffee and light refreshments.
