City, County Officials To Attend Ribbon Cutting At New Murray Hills Playground On Saturday

A popular walking track in the Murray Hills neighborhood now has a new playground to go with it. The idea for the playground was initiated by members of the Murray Hills Neighborhood Association.


Chattanooga City Council Chair Ken Smith, Hamilton County Commissioner Warren Mackey and representatives from the Department of Public Works and Parks and Recreation will be on hand to celebrate the grand opening of the playground at 4125 Melinda Drive, on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Remarks will be at 11 a.m.
