2 Moccasin Bend Patients Escape On Thursday

Timothy Florence and William Foster escaped from the Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institute on Thursday.

The Chattanooga Police Department is attempting to locate both men at this time. 

Florence, 27, and Foster, 38, left Moccasin Bend's custody at approximately 4:50 p.m.

Prior to transfer to Moccasin Bend, Florence was in custody at the Knox County Jail on theft charges.

Prior to transfer to Moccasin Bend, Foster was in custody at the Bradley County Jail on charges of criminal impersonation and resisting arrest.

Both men have warrants through Hamilton County due to their departures from the hospital.

Both men were last seen wearing gray sweatpants and white shirts

Chattanooga Police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423 698-2525.

The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released when available.
