Anna Hawkins
Anna Elizabeth Hawkins, 76, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Clester Hawkins; son, Jack Melvin; and sister, Illyana Jean Cox.
Survivors include her son, Robert (Samatha Reid) Hawkins; daughters, Anna (Wendell) Ashberry and Carmen Coburn; nephews, Thomas Cook and Jermaine Cox; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
She will lie in state on Saturday, July 21, at 10 a.m. at New Horizon Baptist Church.
Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Dr. Willie Paul as the eulogist.
Burial will be in Shepherd Community Cemetery at a later date.
