Darryl L Putman, 23, Shot On Sheridan Avenue Early Monday Morning

A man was shot in East Chattanooga early Monday morning.
 
Police said the injuries to Darryl L Putman, 23, were not life-threatening.
 
The Chattanooga Police Department responded at 2 a.m. to a report of a person shot on the 1200 block of Sheridan Avenue. The following are the preliminary facts of that incident: Officers were unable to locate any victim at the location.
 
Area hospitals were then contacted but reported no admission of gunshot victims.
 
At 2:11 p.m. (12 hours later), police were informed of a gunshot victim arriving at a local hospital.
Investigators were able to link the victim to the incident at 2 a.m.
 
Members of the Violent Crimes Bureau are actively investigating the incident.
