Timmerman Appointed Corporate Group Sales Manager For The Chattanoogan Hotel

The Chattanoogan hotel has hired Wendy Timmerman as the corporate group sales manager.  Ms. Timmerman is responsible for managing The Chattanoogan’s corporate group business and securing new accounts for the hotel.  

Ms. Timmerman has more than 19 years of industry experience.  Before joining The Chattanoogan, she was the general manager for Hampton Inn & Suites Chattanooga/Hamilton Place.  In that role, she directed the management and operations of the hotel, including corporate and group sales.  She also served as assistant general manager for the DoubleTree in Chattanooga.  

In addition, Ms. Timmerman was the director of sales for Hampton Inn in Chattanooga for more than a decade.  She managed inside and outside sales initiatives for corporate, government and leisure group accounts.  She was also responsible for training directors of sales for other company hotels. 

Ms. Timmerman is active in the Chattanooga community, and has served on the board of directors for the Greater Chattanooga Hospitality Association.  She has also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, Chattanooga Area Food Bank and Chattanooga Clean & Green.
