David Oliphant
David Oliphant, 58, was arrested after stabbing Raymond Hill, 48, early Saturday morning.
At approximately 12:09 a.m., Chattanooga Police were dispatched to a person stabbed at 1000 Peeples Street. Upon arrival, officers located Hill suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Hamilton County EMS responded to the scene and transported him to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Officers located Oliphant nearby covered in blood as well as a knife on his person and also covered in blood.
Investigators with the Violent Crimes Bureau responded to the scene. Investigators arrested the suspect and charged him with attempted murder and aggravated assault.
