A townhouse development is planned in Hixson at Grubb Road and Winding Lane.
Jay Floyd of Regan-Smith is the applicant for the project on eight acres.
There would be 36 townhouse units.
A new public road will be created, it was stated. There will be individual driveways to the new townhomes from the new road.
The property owner is Ridge Point Properties.
The Regional Planning Agency staff is recommending approval for the requested rezoning. It goes before the Planning Commission next Monday at 1 p.m. at the County Courthouse.
