The Chattanooga Department of Transportation will convert the two-way stop intersections of W Main Street at Carter Street/Reggie White Boulevard and Carter Street at W 13th Street/Highway 27 off ramp to all-way stop intersections.

Work will begin Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.

Congestion and traffic rerouting may occur through Wednesday as lane lines are shifted.

Drivers are asked to approach the intersections with caution, and to be prepared for the new stop signs on W Main Street and on Carter Street.
