Tennessee Treasury Unclaimed Property Division Returns To The Hamilton County Fair

  • Tuesday, September 25, 2018

The Tennessee Department of Treasury Unclaimed Property Division will once again host a booth at the Hamilton County Fair this Saturday and Sunday. The division has visited every corner of the state over the past year attending fairs and festivals, hoping to connect Tennesseans with their missing money.

The division was at the Hamilton County Fair last year with tremendous success. Tennesseans learned about unclaimed property from the booth as well as through local media coverage, resulting in over 12,000 claims filed over the same weekend last year. However, there is still more than $43.5 million waiting to be claimed in Hamilton and the surrounding counties.

Fair-goers are encouraged to stop by the Unclaimed Property booth to search www.ClaimItTN.gov for missing money. If property is found, the owner can file a claim right there, and division representatives will be on-hand to answer any questions about the claim or claim process.

Hamilton County Fair (Chattanooga)

Saturday, Sept. 29, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 30, 10 a.m.– 6 p.m.
