Home Damaged By Fire Wednesday Evening On Biltmore Drive

The Chattanooga Fire Department responded at approximately 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday to a reported structure fire at 514 Biltmore Drive.

It took five fire companies (Engine 15, Squad 13, Quint 13, Engine 5 and Engine 4) about five minutes to get the fire under control. Captain Chris Fryar the Incident Commander said the firefighters located the fire in the bedroom and were able to contain the fire damage to that room. The rest of the house had smoke damage. No injuries were reported.

The fire displaces one adult and one child. Volunteers with the American Red Cross were called in to provide assistance to the residents. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Chattanooga Police and Hamilton County EMS also provided valuable assistance on the scene.
