Robert Westfield
Robert Louis Westfield, Sr., 80, passed away on March 16, 2019 in Chattanooga.
He was married to Ruby Westfield for 61 years. He attended Booker T. Washington High School and retired from General Electric Corporation after 30 years of service. He was a faithful member of Greater Tucker Baptist Church where he served on the deacon board and was a member of the male chorus and mass choir.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Bessie Westfield; son, Robert Westfield, Jr.;
and brothers, William Westfield and Charles Westfield.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Westfield, three daughters, Edna Freeman, Loretta Nunn, and Gwen (Tony) Edmondson all of Chattanooga; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 22, from 6–8 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 23, at noon at Greater Tucker MB Church. Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens – East.
