Cordarius Tucker has been sentenced to serve 20 months in federal prison after multiple handguns were found at a Chattanooga residence.

He appeared before Judge Sandy Mattice.

Several agencies conducted a search at his residence on Feb. 5, 2018. There was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the residence.

An individual was seen throwing a handgun out a rear window. Four more handguns were located inside. They included two Smith & Wesson 40 caliber pistols, a RG 145 revolver and a Titan 25 caliber handgun.

Tucker, who is now 27, admitted that one of the Smith & Wesson handguns was his. He said he had been smoking at least 13 marijuana cigars regularly since he was 13 years old.

Tucker will be on three years of supervised probation after his release.
