Soddy Daisy Resident Loses Car To Fire On Friday

A Soddy Daisy resident lost his only vehicle to fire on Friday.

At 3:20 pm, a 911 call was made reporting a car fire with structure endangerment at 10710 Jenkins Circle in Soddy Daisy.

The Sequoyah Volunteer Fire Department and Dallas Bay VFD arrived on the scene reporting a fully-involved fire to the cart port and vehicle.

Firefighters worked quickly to get the fire under control and alleviate additional heat damage to the house.

No injuries were reported but HCEMS was on the scene for any potential injuries to the First Responders.

The cause of the fire is undetermined and will be under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.

Fire officials reported $15,000 in damages.
