The Catoosa County Public Works Department has scheduled road repair work on Akins Road from Boynton Drive to Bookout Road RD, weather permitting. Due to additional work, Akins Road will be closed to thru traffic through Wednesday, July 24.
Detour Route will be marked.
"Catoosa County appreciates the patience and cooperation of everyone during this road improvement project," officials said. "Please use marked detour route and be prepared for traffic delays."
