Glenda Pitts
Glenda Moore Pitts, 67, passed away on November 17, 2020.
She was born in Chattanooga, to the late Richard Myree and Elizabeth Collier. She attended Howard High School and worked at Erlanger Medical Center. She was a faithful member of New Piney Woods Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and served on the nurses guild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jimmy Moore, Ed Moore, Earl McAllister; beloved nephew, Eric Moore.
She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Kimberlyn Moore, Atlanta, GA; granddaughters, Tramessa Morgan, Chattanooga, TN Sherrell Hawkins (Ronald) Pettway, Riviera Beach, FL; brothers, Robert “Bobby” (Opal) McAllister, Atlanta, GA, Donny Harris, James Collier, Bernard (Annette) Collier, Chattanooga, TN, Anthony Moore, Elizabeth, KY; sisters, Linda Moore, Ellene Collier, Bernet Collier, Chattanooga, Rhonda Myree, Clarksville, TN; niece, Jennifer (Robert) Guerard, Tephanie Moore (James) King; great grandsons, Tremayne Morgan, Askia Jordan, Jr., Chattanooga, DeShawn Wellons, Rivera Beach, FL; great granddaughters, Scarlett Pettway, Rivera Beach, FL; Aniya Jordan, Marley Morgan, Chattanooga; great-great-granddaughter, Anayi De’Nae Morgan, Chattanooga; former husband-family friend, Tommy Pitts, Dayton, OH; special cousin Diane Miree, Chattanooga; a host of other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be from 9 a.m.–12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28, in the chapel, followed by a 1 p.m. funeral service. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
