Louise Smithson
Kathryn Louise Smithson, 84, of East Ridge, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021, in a local hospital.
She was a member of East Ridge Church of Christ, had been employed by Kayo Oil Company and retired from Ace Oil Company as a secretary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Owen Smithson, Sr.; parents, Benton and Edith Farr; son, Randall Alan Smithson; infant daughter, Kathy Smithson; and an infant sister.
Survivors include her son, Danny Owen Smithson, Jr. and his wife, Pam; daughter-in-law, Traci Smithson; seven grandchildren, Adam Patterson, Erin Lavin, Peter Benton Smithson, Seth Smithson, Sara Garland and her husband Kris, Rachel Hughes and Hannah Jones and her husband, Preston; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, with Minister Charles Cochran officiating.
Burial will be in Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
