Carol Lorraine Lorenzen, age 77, of Dayton passed away at her home early Saturday morning, December 23, 2023.
Carol was born in Minneapolis, MN on August 11, 1946 the daughter of the late Orville Elmer Abramson and Katherine (Gustafson) Abramson. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Paul Abramson.
Carol was a longtime resident of St. Petersburg, FL and moved to Dayton in 2019. While in Florida she and her husband were foster parents for numerous children.
Carol is survived by her husband of 56 years James Lorenzen of Dayton; three sons, Nate (Kristen) Lorenzen of Dayton, Brandon (Kelly) Lorenzen of Canton, Ga., Jake (Caitlin) Lorenzen of St. Petersburg, Fl., her daughter Erika (Nathan) Snyder of Athens; two brothers, Bill Abramson and Dick (Judy) Abramson both of Fergus Falls, Mn.; sister, Karen Abramson of St. Petersburg, Fl.; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A family graveside will be held at Rhea Memory Gardens in Dayton.
