One person was killed and another severely injured in an apparent head-on collision on East Brainerd Road on Tuesday morning.
Chattanooga Police responded to 8400 E. Brainerd Road at 8:45 a.m. at the crash scene to find two people severely injured.
One driver died at the scene. The second driver was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The crash appears to be a head-on collision, but the reconstruction investigation will determine exactly what occurred.
