Alan Shuptrine Is Speaker At Moccasin Bend Chapter Of The NSDAR

The Moccasin Bend Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution held their monthly meeting at the Mountain Creek Church of Christ.

Acclaimed watercolor artist and master craftsman Alan Shuptrine was the speaker for this meeting. Mr. Shuptrine is the author of Alan Shuptrine: Appalachian Watercolors of the Serpentine Chain, and I Come From a Place. He and his wife, Bonny, are the owners of Shuptrine’s Gallery.

"Alan’s captivating presentation regarding The Serpentine Chain was enjoyed by every member in attendance," officials said.
"He shared information regarding the historical aspect of the Serpentine Chain, his journey on the Appalachian Trail, museum exhibition and his award-winning books."
