Fugitive Apprehended Only To Be Released Due To Jail Being Full - And Other Collegedale Police Calls

A Bradley County fugitive was apprehended after a traffic stop in the 10400 block of Lee Highway. Bradley County advised that their jail was at capacity, and the individual was released.

Officers responded to a tree that fell onto wires and obstructed the roadway. Officers directed traffic until EPB arrived and replaced the wires.


Officers assisted Hamilton County Deputies with an individual discharging a firearm in the 9200 block of Cobblestone Hill.


A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 4700 block of University Drive and another in the 10008 block of Laumere Court.


A two-vehicle crash was reported in the 9300 block of Lee Highway.


Officers responded to Wolftever Elementary after a parent pushed their way through the doors and past staff to use the bathroom. The parent left the school before the officers arrived.


Officers were dispatched to a wires down in the 3500 block of Prospect Church Road.


A Collegedale fugitive was located at the Bradley County Jail. The individual was booked on a bond revocation warrant for driving on a suspended license.


Officers responded to an individual in crisis in the 5000 block of Ooltewah Ringgold Road. The individual was transported for an evaluation.


Nightshift officers responded to a report of a tree and powerlines in the road.


A driver in the 10600 block of Lee Highway was arrested for driving on a license that was revoked for a DUI.


Hamilton County Deputies requested a K9 for a traffic stop on the I75. K9 Maxim was deployed and alerted to the presence of narcotics. A search resulted in the discovery of drug paraphernalia.


Officers assisted Hamilton County with translation during a domestic assault on East Brainerd Road.


Officers were conducting a neighborhood check and discovered an open garage door in the 100 block of Myrtle Lane. Officers cleared and secured the garage.
