Royellen Russell Lamarre
Royellen Russell Lamarre, 72, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024
Royellen was a graduate of Tyner High School class of 1969. After a brief time working for the FBI, she served the city of Chattanooga for 29 years as a fingerprint specialist and moved her way up to crime scene investigator. After retirement she spent 10 years working for Honey Baked Ham.
She will always be remembered for her amazing strength as a single mother, being an overindulgent Nana, and showing endless unconditional love for her family. She was a shoulder for her friends to lean on, enjoyed giving back to her community through various clubs and organizations, and had a strong passion for cruising.
She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Martha Russell.
She is survived by her three daughters: Monica Lamarre, Sharon (Greg) Hollingsworth, and Jamie Collins (Adam); grandchildren Eric (Zoe) Collins and Hailey Collins; sisters Belinda (Richard) Howard and Mary (Jeff) Lee; best friend of 45 years, Cyndee Holder.
A Celebration of Life will be on Tuesday, May 14, at 4 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home with Richard Howard officiating.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the service hour at Heritage Funeral Home.
