Chattanooga Lady Red Wolves Open Season Sunday At Home

The Chattanooga Lady Red Wolves will open their season on Sunday, May 12th at CHI Memorial Stadium against Tennessee Soccer Club with a 7:30 p.m. kickoff.

The Chattanooga Lady Red Wolves ended their 2023 season ranked second in the USL W League Southern Conference South Central Division with an 8-3-1 record and will be looking to represent their division in the 2024 postseason.

With teams competing across the country, a total of 465 games are slated to be played over the
course of the USL W league in the regular season. The USL W League welcomes Athens United
and Greenville Liberty to the Southern Conference South Central Division while former members South Carolina United SC, North Alabama SC, and South Georgia Tormenta FC will
compete in the Eastern Conference South Atlantic Division.

The Lady Red Wolves welcome academy products Zoe Misenheimer, Mary Wamack, and Emily
Betterton for this upcoming season in addition to returning players including prior academy
signings Sara Hill and Lauren Alexander, Jayla Gillespie, Kennedy Ball, Molly Cason, Sophia Mize,
Katie Wilson, Ava Duffey, Clarissa Salinas, Zoey Mize, and Grace Morris. New signings include
Caroline Richvalsky, Katie Bahn, Abby Gemza, and Natascha Frei.

Former players, Sinoxolo Cesane, Maggie Shaw, and Mackenzie Smith all signed professional
contracts during the offseason, becoming the fourth, fifth, and sixth Lady Red Wolves players to
sign professional contracts in the club’s history: Shaw signed for the Newcastle United Jets in
Australia, and will be competing in the A-League; Cesane signed with Mazatlan FC Femenil
located in Mexico, and has begun playing internationally; and Smith will be competing in Iceland
for Fram.

The Lady Red Wolves are led by Luke Winter as head coach, assistant coaches Tracy Hoza and
Katie Philips, goalkeeper coach Ricardo Jérez, and performance coach Nick Davis.
The team will hold practice on Saturday, May 11th at Camp Jordan from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00
a.m. and will be recognized at the men’s game at halftime.
