John Gilbert Ledridge
John Gilbert Ledridge, 87, of East Ridge, Tennessee, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 3, 2024 at his home.
He was born on Aug. 21, 1936, in Tyrone, Ky., to the late Albert and Irene Ledridge. Mr. Ledridge served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post 95 and the Elks Lodge #91. John had been a member at East Ridge Presbyterian Church for 58 years where he served as an elder and deacon. His favorite things included his family, church, golfing, square dancing, crab legs, talking to any and everyone, all things Kentucky, and the Cincinnati Reds.
Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Ann Ledridge; children, Pam (Eric) Bain, Larry (Nora) Ledridge and Scott (Stacie) Ledridge; grandchildren, Stacy Clowdus, Jessica Clowdus, Aaralyn Ledridge and Blakely Ledridge; along with his great nieces, Chrissy Wilbanks, Denise Downey and Charlene Taylor.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, at East Ridge Presbyterian Church with Pastor J.R. Caines officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
