CADAS announced today that they were awarded an American Water Charitable Foundation 2024 Water and Environment grant, focusing on the “Roots to Recovery” Garden Project for the Adolescent Recovery Center at CADAS.
“This grant will provide crucial support for the creation of a therapeutic garden project, providing a safe and nurturing space for adolescents in recovery to connect with nature, learn valuable life skills and promote their overall wellbeing. I am confident that this project will make a significant difference in the lives of the young people served by the Adolescent Recovery Center at CADAS,” said Mary Catherine Gentry, director of development.
The Water and Environment grant is part of the American Water Charitable Foundation’s Keep Communities Flowing Grant Program.
The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization established by American Water, the largest regulated water and wastewater utility company in the U.S., and aims to support high-impact projects and initiatives that further American Water’s commitment to ESG, as well as inclusion, diversity and equity.
