The Cleveland Country Club has a long and storied history in the annals of Tennessee golf.
Founded in 1924, the club has been the site of a number of Tennessee Golf Association and Tennessee PGA Section state championships and hosted NCAA Division II Regional tournaments. It was also used during the stroke play qualifying for the 1991 U.S. Amateur hosted by The Honors Course.
Maggie Scott, the most decorated women’s golfer in TGA history with 13 individual state titles, also hails from Cleveland Country Club.
