Alicia Lynne Payne Fowler, 43, died on Saturday, January 31, 2009.
She was born on February 19, 1965 to Clary Jackson and Cherri Payne McIntyre in Chattanooga, Tn.
Lynne was a member of Wesley Chapel CC Church in Chattanooga, Tn., where she also graduated from Riverside High School. She attended Tennessee State University.
Lynne later moved to Cincinnati, Oh., where she attended Cincinnati Career Technical College, graduating in 1989 with honors. Lynne was an active employee of the Cincinnati Enquirer for 18 years beginning her career in the advertising department and later becoming a sales assistant.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charles and Eula Payne, paternal grandparents, Carl and Ora Jackson; uncle Edward Payne and aunt Evelyn McKibben.
Lynne is survived by her mother, Cherri McIntyre; father, Clary Jackson of Chattanooga; son, Harry Fowler, Jr; daughters, Britney Fowler and Chasily Walker; Uncle Charles of Chattanooga, and Aunt Beverly of Chattanooga, the Fowler Family, Harry, Mileah, Manisha, Mark, Chuck, Lisa, Karen and Naomi; special friends, Sean, Mary Jo, Yvonne, Fran, Emily, Reggie and Dave; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews; the Lockland Family; YMCA; Cincinnati Enquirer Family and a host of friends and family.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, at Jamison, Jamison and Brown Funeral Home, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati, Oh. 45206, 513 281-7712, with Rev. Charles Payne, officiating.
Visitation will be held on Friday at funeral home in Cincinnati, Oh., from 5:30-8 p.m. EST.
