It's not often that the rare breed of Napoleons make an appearance at cat shows, but they will be one of the stars of the upcoming Hillbilly Cat Show on Signal Mountain.

Margie Gardner of Flintstone, Ga., a Napoleon breeder, said, "There will be Napoleon breeders from across the country converging on this show to help promote the breed. The founder of our breed, Joe Smith, is planning on attending plus as many as 7-10 Napoleon cats in attendance."

The Napoleon is a breed of dwarf cat that is named after Napoleon. It is a short-legged cat that is closely related to the Munchkin.

The show will be Nov. 10-11 at the Signal Mountain Community Center on Ridgeway Avenue.

Hours will be 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. Sunday.
