Heritage House Arts & Civic Center’s Holiday Open House and Volunteer Appreciation was Monday. 

EAC Administrator Missy Crutchfield and the Department of Education, Arts & Culture awarded nearly 70 Certificates of Appreciation to volunteers for their valuable contributions and service to the community of East Brainerd through events like HubFest, Bark in the Park, Live from the House with Chattanooga Songwriters Association, Diversity Thanksgiving presented, and Sweet Diversity, among other programs and partnerships taking place regularly at Heritage House.

Good Neighbors, Inc. To Host Flea Market, Festival As Part Of Recruitment Efforts

Good Neighbors, Inc. is hosting a flea market and festival on Oct. 28, starting at 9 a.m., at Whiteside Park, 652 MLK.  The event will kickoff its annual recruitment of new members, and the start of an annual fundraising campaign. County Commission Votes 7-2 For Rezoning For C&D Landfill At Harrison

The County Commission on Wednesday voted 7-2 to approve rezoning for a Construction and Debris landfill at Harrison.  Voting in favor were Greg Beck, Warren Mackey, Sabrena Smedley, Greg Martin, Tim Boyd, Randy Fairbanks and Jim Fields.   Opposed were Chester Bankston and Joe Graham.  Commissioner Boyd said it was just the first step in permitting for ...
