Frances Bridges
Frances J. Bridges, 68, of Rock Spring, died on Friday, December 28, 2012 in a Montgomery, Alabama hospital.
She was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and had lived the past year with her sister in Clanton, Ala. Mrs. Bridges was a member of Sunny Side Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Chester H. Bridges, Sr., and daughter, Genie Greenwood.
Survivors include her children, Chester H. Bridges, Jr, USAF Ret. (Mary Camblin Bridges), Jennifer LeAnne (Rodney) Richardson, and John L.A. Bridges, USMC (Cecelia Bridges); stepdaughters, Sheila Holbrook, Gwen Lee, and Connie Bryson; sister, Jewel Lucas; six grandchildren, one great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, Dec. 30, at 2 p.m. at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with Reverend Randy Avans officiating.
